Fuel Tracker Auto-Start
The fuel tracker (Auto-Start version) utilizes an advanced location-based data processing algorithm to calculate fuel consumption while flying. At its core, the system integrates real-time GPS data, capturing speed information continuously during a flight.
Designed as a standalone application, the flight planning fuel tracker operates entirely through software, requiring no downloads, external hardware, or direct connections to an aircraft’s fuel system. Users can rely on the device’s built-in capabilities to perform fuel calculations without the need for specialized equipment or integrations.
How To Use It
Launch the fuel tracker application and “Allow Location” to be fully functional. This is needed to track the speed and allow the auto-start function to activate.
Access “Fuel Settings” and enter required information.
- Fuel Tank Size: Input the total fuel tank size (combined as one) in the appropriate field.
- Fuel On Board (FOB): Enter the amount of fuel currently on board.
- Aircraft Fuel Consumption: Specify the fuel consumption rate for your aircraft.
- Units: Choose either Metric or Imperial from the dropdown menu.
- Save.
Once saved, the calculator will be ready for use. You don’t need to do anything else. For an optimal experience, consider switching to full-screen view. Start your flight as normal. The fuel tracker calculator will start automatically by detecting speed during take-off, tracks your fuel usage and endurance and will stop automatically when you land. Other than setting up initial fuel values, not other manual input is needed.
